UPDATE: Wendy's Posts Rise In Q4 Earnings

The Wendy's Co WEN reported a 25% gain in its fourth-quarter earnings. Wendy's posted its quarterly earnings of $33.1 million, or $0.08 per share, versus $26.4 million, or $0.07 per share, in the year-ago period. Excluding special items, it earned $0.11 per share. Its revenue declined 5.9% to $592.4 million. Wendy's had expected adjusted earnings of $0.10 to $0.11 per share on revenue of $592.4 million. Wendy's shares fell 2.65% to $9.92 in pre-market trading.
