Charter Communications (NASDAQ: CHTR) posted a profit in the fourth quarter.

Charter swung to a quarterly profit of $39 million, or $0.35 per share, versus a year-ago loss of $40 million, or $0.41 per share.

Its revenue climbed 12% to $2.15 billion versus $1.91 billion. However, analysts were estimating earnings of $0.31 per share on revenue of $2.16 billion.

Charter shares closed at $131.84 yesterday.
