UPDATE: Janus Capital Q4 Profit Rises 23%

Janus Capital Group

reported a 23% rise in its fourth-quarter profit. Janus Capital's quarterly net income surged to $38.3 million, or $0.21 per share, from a year-ago profit of $31.2 million, or $0.17 per share. However, analysts were estimating earnings of $0.18 per share. Janus Capital shares fell 1.08% to $12.85 in pre-market trading.
