Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) announced its plans to acquire Nest Labs for $3.2 billion. Google shares gained 0.62% to $1,129.99 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts expect JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE: JPM) to report its Q4 earnings at $1.39 per share on revenue of $24.47 billion. JPMorgan shares climbed 0.33% to $57.89 in after-hours trading.
Wolverine Worldwide (NYSE: WWW) issued downbeat revenue forecast for fiscal year 2013. Wolverine Worldwide shares dropped 2.59% to $31.97 in the after-hours trading session.
Yum! Brands (NYSE: YUM) reported a 2% rise in its December same-store sales in China. The company's Q4 same-store sales declined 4% in China. Yum shares fell 0.76% to $72.85 in after-hours trading.
