Zale ZLC reported a narrower fiscal fourth-quarter loss.
Zale posted a quarterly loss of $8 million, or $0.25 per share, versus a year-ago loss of $19.7 million, or $0.61 per share.
Its revenue climbed 2.5% to $417.1 million. However, analysts were expecting a loss of $0.33 per share on revenue of $409 million
Its gross margin rose to 53.1% from 51.6%, while overall same-store sales increased 5.6%,
Zale shares jumped 10.49% to $9.90 in pre-market trading.
