Woodside Petroleum H1 Net Profit Rises 7.5%

reported a 7.5% rise in its first-half profit. Woodside Petroleum's net profit for the six months through June surged to US$873 million, while underlying profit dropped 1.5% to US$852 million. Woodside Petroleum shares closed at $35.33 yesterday.
