ANZ Net Profit Rises 7%

Australia & New Zealand Banking Group ANZBY reported a 7% rise in its net profit for the nine months through June. ANZ's net profit for the period surged to 4.7 billion Australian dollars (US$4.3 billion), while cash profit climbed 11% to A$4.8 billion. ANZ shares closed at $27.55 yesterday.
