Visteon VC reported a better-than-expected second-quarter profit and raised its full-year view.
Visteon's quarterly net income dropped 13% to $65 million, or $1.29 per share, from $75 million, or $1.40 per share, in the year-ago period. Excluding one-time items, it earned $1.41 per share, beating analysts' estimates of $1.06 per share.
Its sales climbed around 12% to $1.89 billion, versus estimates of $1.88 billion.
Visteon shares closed at $64.87 yesterday.
