Nestle H1 Net Profit Up 3.7%

reported a 3.7% gain its net profit for the six months ended June. Nestle's net profit for the period surged to 5.1 billion Swiss francs ($5.53 billion), versus analysts' estimates of CHF5.112 billion. Its total revenue came in at CHF45.2 billion, versus estimates of CHF45.551 billion. Nestle shares closed at $70.46 yesterday.
