Barnes & Noble BKS posted a wider fiscal fourth-quarter loss.
Barnes & Noble posted a quarterly loss of $118.6 million, or $2.11 per share, versus a year-ago loss of $56.9 million, or $1.06 per share.
Its revenue fell 7.4% to $1.28 billion. However, analysts were expecting a loss of $0.99 per share on revenue of $1.33 billion.
Its gross margin narrowed to 17.9% from 29%.
Barnes & Noble shares fell 8.74% to $17.22 in pre-market trading.
