UPDATE: CIT Group Swings To Q1 Profit

CIT Group CIT reported a profit in the first quarter. CIT Group posted a quarterly net income of $162.6 million, or $0.81 per share, versus a year-ago loss of $427 million, or $2.13 per share. CIT Group shares closed at $41.45 yesterday.
