PGE Posts Q4 Net Loss

Poland's Polska Grupa Energetyczna SA PPOLF posted a net loss in the fourth quarter. PGE swung to a net loss of 420 million zloty ($132 million) in the quarter. However, analysts were expecting a net profit of PLN406 million. PGE recommended a dividend of PLN0.86 per share. Its quarterly sales came in at PLN8.66 billion, versus analysts' estimates of PLN7.24 billion.
