Nissan Q3 Net Profit Down 35%

Nissan Motor Co

reported a decline in its third-quarter net profit. Nissan's quarterly net profit dropped 35% to Y54.1 billion ($582 million), from Y82.7 billion, in the year-ago quarter. However, analysts were expecting a profit of Y59.9 billion. Its sales declined 5.3% to Y2.208 trillion from Y2.331 trillion. Nissan shares closed at $21.10 yesterday.
