Humana (NYSE: HUM) reported a drop in its fourth-quarter net profit.

Humana's quarterly profit fell to $192 million, or $1.19 per share, from $199 million, or $1.20 per share, in the year-ago period.

Its revenue rose to $9.56 billion from $9.06 billion. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $1.07 per share on revenue of $9.75 billion.

For the first quarter, it expects profit of $1.75 to $1.85 per share. For the full year, Humana expects earnings of $7.60 to $7.80 per share.

Humana shares closed at $75.35 on Friday.
