Stocks To Watch For January 14, 2013

Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are: Wall Street expects PPG Industries PPG to report its Q4 earnings at $1.53 per share on revenue of $3.59 billion. PPG shares gained 0.23% to close at $142.10 on Friday. Vera Bradley VRA announced the resignation of its Chief Financial and Administrative Officer Jeffrey A. Blade. Vera Bradley shares dropped 2.69% to $22.77 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts expect Material Sciences MASC to report its Q3 earnings at $0.21 per share on revenue of $34.70 million. Material Sciences shares declined 1.09% to $10.00 in after-hours trading. Shares of Best Buy BBY surged 16.38% on Friday after the company reported a 1.4% drop in its holiday comparable sales in the nine weeks ended January 5. However, analysts were expecting a 3% fall in comparable sales. Best Buy shares fell 0.35% to $14.16 in after-hours trading. Hostess Brands announced its plans to sell most of its bread business to Flowers Foods FLO for $390 million. Flowers Foods shares fell 0.05% to $24.82 in the after-hours trading session.
