Acacia Subsidiary Announces Settlement and License Agreement with CarrierWeb

Acacia Research (NASDAQ: ACTG) announced today that its
Telematics Corporation subsidiary has entered into a settlement and
license agreement with CarrierWeb, L.L.C. This agreement resolves patent
litigation that was pending in the United States District Court for the
Northern District of Georgia.
