UPDATE: Adobe Posts Upbeat FQ4 Profit

Adobe Systems ADBE reported upbeat fiscal fourth-quarter results. Adobe's quarterly profit surged to $222.33 million, or $0.44 per share, from $173.72 million, or $0.35 per share, in the year-ago period. Its adjusted profit came in at $0.61 per share. Its revenue rose to $1.153 billion, from $1.152 billion. However, analysts were projecting a profit of $0.56 per share on revenue of $1.1 billion. Adobe shares surged 5.99% to $37.66 in the after-hours trading session.
