Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

Wall Street expects Hovnanian Enterprises (NYSE: HOV) to report a Q4 loss at $0.06 per share on revenue of $461.75 million. Hovnanian Enterprises shares gained 0.73% to close at $5.49 yesterday.

CA Technologies (NASDAQ: CA) appointed Michael Gregoire as its new chief executive. CA shares rose 0.09% to $21.87 in the after-hours trading session.

Analysts are expecting Pier 1 Imports (NYSE: PIR) to have earned $0.24 per share on revenue of $418.49 million in the third quarter. Pier 1 shares gained 1.15% to $19.30 in after-hours trading.

Harbinger Group (NYSE: HRG) announced a secondary public offering of shares of its common stock by selling shareholders. Harbinger Group shares dipped 15.36% to $8.65 in the after-hours trading session.

Analysts expect CIENA (NASDAQ: CIEN) to post a Q4 loss at $0.06 per share on revenue of $468.28 million. CIENA shares rose 1.70% to close at $15.57 yesterday.
