Stocks To Watch For December 11, 2012
Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:
Wall Street expects Dollar General (NYSE: DG) to report its Q3 earnings at $0.60 per share on revenue of $3.96 billion. Dollar General shares gained 0.67% to $46.88 in after-hours trading.
The US Treasury Department announced its plans to sell its remaining 16% stake in American International Group (NYSE: AIG). AIG shares dropped 1.38% to $32.90 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts are expecting Comverse Technology (NASDAQ: CMVT) to have earned $0.12 per share on revenue of $399.77 million in the third quarter. Comverse Technology shares fell 0.28% to close at $3.55 yesterday.
Texas Instruments (NASDAQ: TXN) lowered its earnings forecast for the fourth quarter. The company now projects Q4 earnings of $0.05 to $0.09 per share, versus its earlier forecast of $0.23 to $0.31 per share. It expects revenue of $2.89 billion to $3.01 billion, versus its earlier forecast of $2.83 billion to $3.07 billion. Texas Instruments shares fell 0.10% to close at $29.82 yesterday.
Analysts expect Pantry (NASDAQ: PTRY) to report its Q4 earnings at $0.54 per share on revenue of $2.19 billion. Pantry shares declined 1.23% to close at $12.82 yesterday.
