posted a loss in the fiscal third quarter. Pep Boys posted a quarterly loss of $6.8 million, or $0.13 per share, versus a year-ago profit of $7 million, or $0.13 per share. The latest quarter included debt-refinancing and impairment charges. Its sales dropped 2.4% to $509.6 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.15 per share on revenue of $528 million. Its same-store sales declined 2.7%. Pep Boys shares dropped 5.62% to $10.08 in after-hours trading.
