NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) reported upbeat fiscal second-quarter earnings. NetApp shares surged 10.21% to $29.89 in the after-hours trading session.

Analysts are expecting Target (NYSE: TGT) to have earned $0.79 per share on revenue of $16.93 billion in the third quarter. Target shares rose 0.11% to $61.45 in after-hours trading.

Texas Instruments (NASDAQ: TXN) announced its plans to lower 1,700 jobs worldwide. Texas Instruments shares rose 0.83% to $29.00 in the after-hours trading session.

Analysts expect Viacom (NASDAQ: VIAB) to report its Q4 earnings at $1.17 per share on revenue of $3.42 billion. Viacom shares gained 0.54% to $48.25 in after-hours trading.
