Sagicor Financial Q3 Net Profit Rises 46%

Sagicor Financial posted a 46% surge in its third-quarter profit.

Sagicor Financial's quarterly income before tax rose to $20.5 million, from $13.3 million, in the year-ago period.

Sagicor Financial's revenue rose to $340.2 million from $336.0 million, while net premium revenue dropped to $242.3 million from $263.0 million.

Its basic and diluted earnings per share rose to 2.1 cents from 1.0 cents. The company's board declared a half-yearly dividend of 2.0 cents per common share.
