Alibaba Posts Surge In Q2 Net Income

Alibaba Group Holding Ltd reported a strong rise in its second-quarter net income.

Alibaba's quarterly net income surged to $273 million, versus $118.9 million, in the year-ago period.

Its revenue climbed 71% to $1.08 billion from $631.2 million.
