UPDATE: Discovery Posts Downbeat Q3 Profit

Discovery Communications (NASDAQ: DISCA) reported weaker-than-expected third-quarter earnings.
Discovery's quarterly net income dropped to $214 million, or $0.57 per share, missing analysts' estimates of $0.63 per share.
Its revenue came in at $1.08 billion, versus analysts' expectations of $1.09 billion.
Discovery shares closed at $59.45 yesterday.
