China Construction Bank Q3 Net Profit Up 12%

China Construction Bank

reported a 12% rise in its third-quarter net profit. China Construction Bank's quarterly net profit surged to 51.91 billion yuan ($8.29 billion), versus 46.19 billion yuan, in the year-ago period. However, analysts were expecting a net profit of 51.22 billion yuan. Its net interest income climbed to CNY91.33 billion from CNY77.30 billion. China Construction Bank shares fell 0.93% to close at $14.90 on Friday.
