DNB Posts Upbeat Q3 Profit

Norway's bank DNB ASA

posted a rise in its third-quarter net profit. DNB's quarterly net profit surged to NOK3.51 billion from NOK2.49 billion, versus analysts' estimates of NOK3.26 billion. Its net interest income climbed to NOK6.83 billion from NOK6.39 billion, versus estimates of NOK6.85 billion. DNB's loan losses declined to NOK521 million from NOK1.17 billion, versus estimates of NOK852 million.
