UPDATE: Logitech Posts Upbeat FQ2 Profit

reported upbeat profit in its fiscal second quarter. Logitech's quarterly net profit rose to $55 million, from $17.4 million, in the year-ago period. However, analysts were expecting a net profit of $18.3 million. Its sales dropped to $548 million from $589.2 million, versus analysts' estimates of $580 million. Logitech shares closed at $8.76 yesterday.
