ARM Holdings Posts Rise In Q3 Profit

posted a rise in its Q3 profit. ARM's quarterly revenue surged 20% to GBP144.6 million, from GBP120.2 million, in the year-ago period. However, analysts were expecting revenue of GBP140 million. However, revenue in dollar terms climbed 18%. ARM's profit before tax and exceptional items surged 22% to GBP68.1 million, versus analysts' estimates of GBP67.4 million. ARM shares closed at $28.12 yesterday.
