China Mobile Q3 Net Profit Up 1.3%

China Mobile Ltd

reported a 1.3% rise in its third-quarter net profit. China Mobile's quarterly earnings increased to 31.1 billion yuan ($4.9 billion), from 30.7 billion yuan, in the year-ago period. However, analysts were expecting a net profit of 30.5 billion yuan. China Mobile shares closed at $54.09 on Friday.
