UPDATE: PNC Financial Q3 Profit Up 11%

PNC Financial Services Group

reported an 11% rise in its third-quarter profit. PNC Financial's quarterly net income surged to $925 million, or $1.64 per share, versus $834 million, or $1.55 per share, in the year-ago period. PNC Financial shares closed at $62.93 yesterday.
