Stocks To Watch For October 10, 2012

Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are: Wall Street expects Helen of Troy HELE to report its Q2 earnings at $0.85 per share on revenue of $310 million. Helen of Troy shares surged 4.44% to $33.37 in after-hours trading. Yum! Brands YUM reported a rise in its Q3 profit and raised its full-year earnings view. Yum Brands shares surged 4.03% to $68.70 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts are expecting Costco Wholesale COST to have earned $1.31 per share on sales of $31.59 billion in the fourth quarter. Costco shares gained 0.51% to $100.15 in after-hours trading. Alcoa AA reported its Q3 earnings, excluding charges, of $0.03 per share. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.01 per share. Alcoa shares dropped 0.99% to $9.04 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts expect Host Hotels & Resorts HST to post a Q3 loss of $0.02 per share on revenue of $1.19 billion. Host Hotels shares gained 0.26% to $15.57 in after-hours trading.
