Stocks To Watch For October 1, 2012

Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are: Wall Street expects Cal-Maine Foods CALM to report its Q1 earnings at $0.40 per share on revenue of $282 million. Cal-Maine shares gained 0.13% to $45.00 in after-hours trading. Jakks Pacific JAKK lowered its full-year view. Jakks now projects 2012 adjusted earnings of $0.68 to $0.74 per share on revenue of $690 million to $700 million. The company had earlier projected earnings of $1.04 to $1.08 per share on revenue of $720 million and $728 million. Jakks Pacific shares tumbled 8.03% to $13.40 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts expect Ferrellgas Partners LP FGP to report a FQ4 loss of $0.38 per share on revenue of $419.6 million. Ferrellgas Partners shares gained 0.94% to close at $19.40 on Friday. Shares of Research In Motion Ltd RIMM surged 5.04% on Friday after the company reported upbeat sales for its BlackBerry smartphones. Research In Motion shares gained 0.27% to $7.52 in the after-hours trading session. AutoZone AZO reported that its board authorized the buyback of an additional $750 million of its stock. AutoZone shares dropped 0.48% to close at $369.67 on Friday.
