Persimmon Posts Rise In H1 Pretax Profit

reported a rise in its half year pretax profit. Its revenue for the period climbed to GBP806.7 million, versus GBP712.8 million, in the year-ago period. Its underlying pretax profit gained to GBP98.7 million, from GBP59.7 million. Persimmon's Underlying EPS rose to 25.7 pence, from 15.5 pence. Its EPS rose to 25.4 pence, from 15.5 pence.
