Acer Posts Q2 Net Profit

Acer (OTC: ACEIF) swung to a net profit in the second quarter.

Acer posted a quarterly net profit of 56 million New Taiwan dollars (US$1.9 million), versus a year-ago net loss of NT$6.8 billion. However, analysts were expecting a net profit of NT$382.67 million.

Its revenue climbed 8.3% to NT$110.6 billion.
