Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

Wall Street expects General Motors Company (NYSE: GM) to report its Q2 EPS at $0.74 on revenue of $38.58 billion. General Motors shares rose 0.05% to $19.67 in after-hours trading.

First Solar (NASDAQ: FSLR) posted a rise in its second-quarter profit and lifted its full-year profit view. First Solar shares surged 18.92% to $17.60 in after-hours trading.

Analysts expect Kellogg Company (NYSE: K) to report its Q2 EPS at $0.84 on revenue of $3.39 billion. Kellogg shares dropped 0.65% to $47.50 in after-hours trading.

American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE: AEO) reported a 9% rise in its July same-store sales and lifted its Q2 profit forecast. American Eagle shares climbed 6.39% to $21.63 in the after-hours trading session.

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (NASDAQ: GMCR) reported a 30% surge in its Q3 profit and announced its plans to repurchase shares. The company also lowered its FY12 financial estimates. Green Mountain shares jumped 12.67% to $20.18 in the after-hours trading session.
