Stocks To Watch For May 3
Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:
Wall Street expects Walgreen Co (NYSE: WAG) to post its FQ3 earnings at $0.63 per share on sales of $17.96 billion. WAG shares fell 1.64% to close at $34.15 yesterday.
The Allstate Corp (NYSE: ALL) reported stronger-than-expected first-quarter results. Allstate shares surged 2.86% to $33.85 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts are expecting General Motors Co (NYSE: GM) to have earned $0.85 per share on sales of $37.88 billion in the first quarter. GM shares declined 0.61% to $22.79 in after-hours trading.
DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc (NASDAQ: DWA) reported a 3% rise in its first-quarter profit. DWA shares gained 1.99% to close at $18.46 yesterday.
Analysts expect Viacom Inc (NASDAQ: VIA) to report its FQ2 earnings at $0.89 per share on revenue of $3.32 billion. VIA shares gained 0.05% to close at $51.04 yesterday.
