JetBlue Airways Reports February Traffic; Up 17.4% YoY

JetBlue Airways Corporation JBLU reported its preliminary traffic results for February 2012. Traffic in February increased 17.4 percent from February 2011, on a capacity increase of 15.5 percent. Load factor for February 2012 was 81.4 percent, an increase of 1.3 points from February 2011. JetBlue's preliminary completion factor was 99.8 percent and its on-time (1) performance was 84.3 percent.  JetBlue's preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile (PRASM) for the month of February increased six percent year over year.  For the month of March, PRASM is expected to increase between 6.5 and 7.5 percent year over year.
