Petronas Q3 Net Profit Drops 34%

Malaysia's Petronas reported a 34% decline in its net profit in the last three months of 2011. Petroliam Nasional Bhd's net profit for the nine-month period ended Dec 31, 2011 surged 10.6% y/y to 55.57 billion ringgit ($18.5 billion). Its revenue climbed 26.9% to 222.79 billion ringgit.
