UPDATE: Partner Communications Net Profit Declines 57%

Partner Communications Co (NASDAQ: PTNR) posted a decline in its net profit.

Partner Communications' profit dropped 57% to 132 million shekels ($35.3 million), versus ILS304 million, in the year-ago period. Its revenue fell 9.8% to ILS1.59 billion.

Partner Communications' operating margin declined to 16.8% from 26.1%. Its cellular subscriber base rose 0.5% to 3.18 billion from 3.16 billion.

Partner Communications' shares closed at $8.42 yesterday.
