Zumiez Inc (NASDAQ: ZUMZ) now projects its Q4 profit of $0.57 to $0.58 per share, versus its earlier forecast of $0.52 to $0.54 per share. Its December same-store sales surged 10%. ZUMZ shares jumped 10.75% to $29.16 in after-hours trading.
Wall Street expects Monsanto Co (NYSE: MON) to report its FQ1 EPS at $0.16 on sales of $2.05 billion. MON shares gained 1.14% to $73.50 in the after-hours trading session.
Shares of LCA-Vision Inc (NASDAQ: LCAV) surged 35.39% yesterday after the company reported a 30% rise in fourth-quarter procedures. LCAV shares gained 1.92% to $4.25 in after-hours trading.
Mosaic Company (NYSE: MOS) reported upbeat quarterly profit. MOS shares gained 0.19% to $52.40 in the after-hours trading session.
Various retailers are scheduled to report December sales on Thursday. Retailers including Rite-Aid Corp (NYSE: RAD), J.C. Penney Co. Inc (NYSE: JCP), Target Corp (NYSE: TGT), Nordstrom Inc (NYSE: JWN), Ross Stores Inc (NASDAQ: ROST), Pier 1 Imports Inc (NYSE: PIR), Costco Wholesale Corp (NASDAQ: COST), Gap Inc (NYSE: GPS) will report December sales.
