Stocks To Watch For January 4

Progress Software Corp (NASDAQ: PRGS) reported a 45% drop in its fourth-quarter net income and issued weaker-than-expected forecast for the current quarter. PRGS shares tumbled 8.59% to $18.10 in after-hours trading.
Wall Street expects Mosaic Company (The) (NYSE: MOS) to report its Q2 earnings at $1.31 per share. MOS shares gained 0.49% to $52.85 in the after-hours trading session.
Acme Packet Inc (NASDAQ: APKT) projects fourth-quarter total revenue of $308 million to $310 million. It expects quarterly earnings per share on a non-GAAP basis of $1.03 to $1.05. APKT shares dipped 17.95% to $26.10 in after-hours trading.
Team Inc (NYSE: TISI) posted better-than-expected second-quarter results and lifted its full year earnings forecast. TISI shares surged 4.35% to $31.20 in the after-hours trading session.
Auto manufacturers are scheduled to issue December monthly sales figures. Auto manufacturers, including Ford Motor Co (NYSE: F), General Motors Corp (NYSE: GM), Toyota Motor Corp (NYSE: TM), Honda Motor Co (NYSE: HMC), Daimler AG (OTC: DDIAF), Volkswagen AG (OTC: VLKAY), will issue sales figures.
