Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

Shares of Blue Coat Systems Inc (NASDAQ: BCSI) jumped 43.65% on Friday after the compay agreed to sell itself to private equity investment firm Thoma Bravo and others for around $1.3 billion, or $25.81 per share. BCSI shares closed at $25.11 on Friday.

ABB Ltd (NYSE: ABB) announced its plans to buy Newave Energy Holding SA for about 170 million Swiss francs ($183 million) in cash. ABB shares gained 2.85% to close at $18.78 on Friday.

Shares of Cooper Companies Inc (The) (NYSE: COO) jumped 16.59% on Friday after the company issued upbeat fiscal 2012 earnings forecast. COO shares closed at $67.81 on Friday.

Hancock Fabrics Inc (OTC: HKFI) reported its quarterly sales at $70.8 million, down from $73.5 million. Its same-store sales dropped 3.5%. HKFI shares gained 2.15% to close at $0.950 on Friday.

Shares of Cell Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: CTIC) dipped 14.49% on Friday after the company announced its plans to sell $20 million in stock to two institutional investors. CTIC shares closed at $1.18 on Friday.
