Facebook Inc (NASDAQ: FB) video will now be available on your smart TV and streaming devices.

"We're excited to roll out the ability to stream videos from Facebook to your TV — through devices like Apple TV or Google Chromecast — so you have the option to enjoy your favorite videos on a bigger screen," said Brent Ayrey, Facebook's Product Director, in a press release.

While users are already able to stream Facebook videos to Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) TV from an iOS device or web browser, soon you will be able to stream from Android devices to Google's (NASDAQ: GOOG) Chromecast as well.

To watch a video from Facebook on your TV:

  • Find a video you want to watch on your phone or desktop and press the TV symbol in the top right corner
  • Select the device you want the video to stream to

Users also will be able to browse their News Feed on the device they are streaming from as videos play on the TV.

Facebook's stock fell 0.96 percent to $127.82.
