The Smart Reply feature in the new app, according to Google, will help users keep the conversation going even when on the move. So, a friend inquiring as to whether the user is on his or her way may not have to wait until the primary user is free to reply. A simple tab will generate replies.
What's more, the Smart Reply feature gives suggestions to send replies for some messages. This will save the user the ordeal of overthinking fitting replies.
What is life without emojis, photos and stickers? Realizing the pulse of users, Google has created a rich canvas on which users can express themselves. Users can also tinker with the size of the text and emojis by merely dragging the send button up and down.
Google also said it would introduce users to a preview version of the Google Assistant through Google Allo, which lets users converse with Google. Users can now have an easy way of leaving conversation with friends by just typing @google to bring the Assistant into any group chat.
Google also assures that chats through Google Allo is incognito mode in addition to encryption using industry standard technologies like Transport Layer Security.
The icing on the cake? Users can also message friends who aren't using Google Allo though SMS, or app preview messages for android users.
