Suicide Squad is a film based on a DC Comics comic book of the same name, where “a secret government agency recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions and save the world from a powerful threat in exchange for clemency.”

Interestingly, organic social mentions of the movie are the highest seen for any film based on a comic book movie in the last two years. Actually, organic mentions of Suicide Squad in the week before its theatrical release are 18 percent higher than mentions of Captain America and 54 percent loftier than those for Batman v. Superman – over the equivalent period.
