Triumph Hires James McCabe As Its New CFO

Triumph Group TGI disclosed that it hired James McCabe as its Senior Vice President and CFO effective August 8. The company stated that the new CFO comes from Steel Partners Holdings where he served as SVP and CFO, and President, Shared Services. McCabe brings in over two and half decades of diverse financial and operating experience to his new role.

Triumph Group said McCabe would head its corporate accounting, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, tax and treasury organizations. The company added that its finance leaders at each of its four business units would report directly to him.

The company's president and CEO, Dan Crowley, commented, "We are pleased to welcome Jim to Triumph where he will apply his extensive experience in finance and operating roles, and expertise building and leading high performance teams to accelerate our efforts on cost reduction, improving cash from operations and expanding margins."

Shares of the company traded 0.51 percent up at $39.31 on Wednesday.
