  • PTC Therapeutics, Inc. PTCT declined 12.4 percent to $5.92. Credit Suisse downgraded PTC Therapeutics from Outperform to Neutral and lowered the price target from $12.00 to $6.00.
  • Air Methods Corp AIRM fell 11.3 percent to $33.94 after the company provided an update to its expectations of earnings and revenue for the second quarter. That meant a warning that they would not be able to meet the Street analysts' expectations.

  • Gilead Sciences, Inc. GILD fell 8 percent to $81.54. Gilead Sciences, posted upbeat earnings for its second quarter, but lowered its FY16 sales guidance.
  • Mobileye NV MBLY shares dropped 6.6 percent to $46.08. Mobileye said during its quarterly conference cal; that it will cease working with perhaps its most notable client, Tesla Motors Inc TSLA beyond the current processor used in its cars called EyeQ3. The company reported both a top and bottom line earnings beat.
  • Pebblebrook Hotel Trust PEB shares fell 5.1 percent to $29.46. Pebblebrook Hotel Trust posted adjusted funds from operations of $0.81 per share for the second quarter.
  • Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. CHKP declined 4.1 percent to $80.17. Check Point posted upbeat Q2 profit.
  • McDonald's Corporation MCD shares fell 4 percent to $122.20 after the company released its Q2 results on Tuesday morning. The fast food leader reported GAAP earnings per share of $1.25 and revenues of $6.265 billion. Analysts had a revenue estimate of $6.27 billion.
