ICF International Granted $14 Million Contract

ICF International Inc. ICFI was granted two new on-call contracts by the State of California Department of Transportation (Caltrans). According to the company, the contracts have a combined value of $13.6 million.

ICF International indicated that the first contract supported Caltrans District 8 and has a maximum value of $6.8 million with a three-year term. The company added that it would offer a complete range of on-call environmental services to support Caltrans District 8 in Southern California in the maintenance, development and construction of its proposed transportation facilities.

The company stated that these services were similar to those provided under the agreements awarded to support Caltrans District 1 and District 2 and 3 recently in the northern part of the state.

Its SVP, David Freytag, commented, "We are thrilled to continue our longstanding support of Caltrans District 8 and to expand our on-call support to include biological monitoring for habitat restoration activities to the Willits Bypass project. We look forward to providing the same level of excellence that Caltrans has come to expect from ICF to help ensure the transportation agency remains compliant with the numerous, complex environmental requirements presented by its projects."

ICF said the second contract supported the District 1 Willits Bypass project. The company stated its maximum value was $6.8 million and has a three-year and three month term. The company would offer on-call biological support services including conducting field reviews and biological monitoring of compensatory aquatic resources mitigation to determine performance relative to the federal and state mitigation and monitoring plans on over 2,000 acres of mitigation lands.

Shares of the company traded 2.62 percent higher on Friday.
