Boeing Reports Higher Commercial Plane Deliveries In Q2 Than Q1

Boeing Co BA reported total commercial airplane deliveries of 199 for the second quarter. This is higher than the 176 deliveries made in the first quarter. This represented 12.4 percent increase on Quarter-over-Quarter basis.

According to the company, it delivered 127 airplanes of 737 models followed by 38 airplanes of 787 models and 28 airplanes of 777 models in the second quarter.

The Boeing said that for the two quarters put together, the commercial plane deliveries totaled 375. The deliveries were driven by 248 airplanes of 737 models. Similarly, the company delivered 68 airplanes of 787 and 51 airplanes of 777. Other models remained in the single digit only.
