Gucci Mane Addresses Government Clone Accusations

Gucci Mane, the famed Atlanta rapper, has been released from jail six months early, and he appears to be facing rumors he has returned as a government clone.

The root of the rumor comes from his appearance on a Kanye West song, "Champions" in which the lyrics "Now that Gucci's home, it's over for you government clones" could be interpreted as suggesting Gucci himself is a government clone.

Even Drake is getting in on the action, posing for a photo with Gucci and posting it on Instagram with the caption, "That ain't no clone...big Gwop home."

Fans have taken to Twitter Inc. TWTR and Instagram to post their speculations through their favorite medium.

Some people are taking the allegations pretty seriously, calling out their Twitter peers for their mind-numbing, sheep-like behavior.

Gucci addressed the allegations earlier this week on XXL. He appears not too bothered by the talk, stating, "I'm hearing that Gucci is a clone. I will neither support nor deny those accusations."
